Hello, dear student! I teach Russian in English, Spanish and Portuguese :) I started to be a tutor of English in 2017 and even today I continue doing that with success. Every time in my country and in the Internet I see more and more people who want to learn Russian for tourism, to understand our literature or just for speaking with people from Russia. Moreover, I have always had a strong desire to share my language knowledge with other people. This is the main reason why I decided to study in the TESOL program and then to give lessons of Russian on Italki. I also find teaching as a great method of cultural exchange.

I believe that you can gain this feeling the only way: by not being afraid of making mistakes and still be aware of those mistakes afterwards and fix them in a gentle way. I know the process of learning a foreign language both as a teacher and as a student, which helps me to understand my students and the challenges they meet (both in learning the language particularly and managing your life as a language learner). So at our lessons I encourage you to express yourself in Russian and lead our conversation in a gentle way so that you can speak as much as possible, because this is what we are here for.

I studied Linguistics (French and English) in Moscow and afterwards I did my Master's degree in Educational Sciences in Finland. I did an internship in Italy, where I taught Russian to Italian students at the University of Pavia, and I also did another internship in Spain for teaching English. I prefer to act like 'a friend' to my student rather than as an authoritarian controller. I 'guide' the students' learning, helping them to achieve their best results and making sure that they enjoy learning with me.

Classes are informal, they include grammar, pronunciation corrections, vocabulary, but generally, we'll be focusing on conversation practice, as I believe that one of the best ways to improve is to speak a lot.
