Několik měsíců učím studenty základních škol angličtinu, s učením již tedy mám nějaké zkušenosti. Jsem velmi trpělivá a snažím se pro studenty vytvořit co nejpřátelštější a nejpřívětivější prostředí. Mým cílem je především to, aby student mluvil co nejvíce to půjde a ztratil z mluvení strach. Důležité je se nebát dělat chyby - tak se člověk nakonec nejvíce naučí! I am very patient and try my best to make the lesson environment as friendly and as comfortable as possible. The goal is for the student to speak as much as possible. English teacher with over 8 years experience/ Czech teacher for conversation I have been a tutor of English for more than 8 years now. I started when I was still at English bilingual high school, helping my peers and younger student to acquire and improve their knowledge. Ever since, I have had many students, especially those who are trying to improve their skills due to job requirements. Thanks to travelling and frequent interaction with my foreign friends, I keep improving my skills myself. Moreover, it is easier for me to pass on knowledge, since I had to learn English as a second language myself.

I have lots of experience working with children (ages babies - 12 years old). First of all from my time in London where I worked as a nanny and then in Mexico where I was teaching English to children from the age of 4 until 12. However I also taught adult classes. Having learnt English myself I know how very important it is to be an active student with loads of speaking and pronunciation practice. That is my main focus in my lessons. I am patient, friendly and chatty and I like to make my lessons fun and engaging.

I have been helping many friends. I have taught children, and adults, not only Czech but also English, German and Spanish. I regularly attend tandems and arrange language swaps. During my sabbatical in Africa, I have been teaching children in Uganda and also spent 3 weeks teaching children in a school in rural Zambia. Children loved my classes. They told me that finally they understood the topics and always persuaded me not to stop the class :D I have been teaching online since October 2022.
