Hey there! My name is Yohei. ✨
(My name is pronounced just like when you say “Yo!" and "Hey!” to get someone’s attention! lol)
I lived in San Jose and work at Japanese Class in the local high school.
Before coming here, I used to live in Vancouver, Canada for three years.
I always keep in mind and do my best to give lessons which are not only informative, but are also tons of fun to take part in.
I promise to offer entertaining classes filled with laughter so that learning a new language is as hassle-free of an experience as possible!

・My lessons focus on daily-conversation skills, so that everything you learn is as useful as possible in everyday-life situations in Japan.

I had an great lesson with Yohei Sensei. I really appreciate the use of the on-screen notes in his lessons; it really helps to see kana, particles, and vocabulary used in the lessons while hearing the spoken Japanese. I feel it helps me to make a stronger mental connection with what I am learning. If you are interested in his Survival Japanese Course, it's really good and has so many fun videos and images that go along with the course. If you are a visual or even auditory learner, you'll love it, and the lessons will stick for sure!
