Hello! Thank you very much for visiting my profile. My name is Alexandra, I live in Colombia, one of the countries with the best accent to learn Spanish. I have worked keeping the records and accounts of some entities, but my true passion is teaching, and at the same time getting to know new people and cultures. I love the diversity that can be found in every person I meet. I really enjoy traveling around my country and reading about topics of general interest and culture. I like cooking, dancing and learning English.

Me as a Teacher

I have more than 5 years of experience as a teacher, my students have been of different grades and ages. I have devoted much of my time out of love and vocation to teaching, which has allowed me to cultivate qualities such as patience, commitment, punctuality, and empathy. I will correct you with respect and I am willing to learn from you and listen carefully to better serve your needs. I also understand the challenges a student may face and like to be adaptable in order to provide the best help possible.

My lessons & teaching style

I understand that each person is different, that's why I like to treat each case and each student in a specific and special way. In my classes you can learn the topic of your choice, and if you want, I can prepare myself in advance to guarantee the quality of my classes with you. We will go at your pace and energy. I will do my best to help you understand not only the language but its essence, train you for the different situations in which you need to communicate effectively. My classes can also be conversational, it is the key to learning. I will do my best to create a fun and relaxed environment so you can enjoy the full experience. I'll wait for you!

1 Spanish lesson

Alexandra was a very good teacher. She asked me how I would like to be corrected and was very profesionnal. At the end of the class I had agreed to 2 more classes next week I have since decided that I will cancel and will let her know. The reason is, at my beginner level of Spanish, I need a teacher who speaks French +/or English. The italkie platform is a great way to experience different accents and methods of teaching!

Today was my first meeting with Alexandra. She is extremely friendly and helpful. She was able to detect and correct any errors that I made in conversation, and open to creating any teaching format that I think would help me the most. Looking forward to seeing her again soon!
