ENGLISH and KOREAN TEACHER
•Teaching the grammar, vocabulary and the 4 skills (Reading, Listening, Writing and Speaking) to the learners from grade 7 to 9 more than 100 students of varying proficiency levels for the university entrance exam and improvement of English and Korean skills.
•Assessing the students’ learning process, including grading homework, tests and projects and provided effective timely and proper feedback to students to support their learning.
•Teaching English and Korean based on task based projects with authentic materials such as newspapers, movies, dramas and books. Through these projects, students produce a lot of speaking and writing.My lessons & teaching style
I teach our students foreign languages and also give students the chance to think about why they should learn foreign languages. My teaching philosophy: 1) Both instructors and learners should know that learning foreign languages is not a goal itself, but learning foreign languages is a tool for communicating with others beyond our limitation of diverse factors such as race, region and culture. 2) The teachers should provide authentic materials based on the real context to students. 3) When learning foreign languages, students should actively interact with others by using target languages. 4) The teachers should give lessons like focus on form based meaning.My teaching material

Nena is WONDERFUL!
I like the way she has organized the class. I feel as though the concepts are easy to understand because she has structured my lesson plan in a way that makes sense. Also, doing exercises right after learning new concepts really helps me remember what I just learned.
Nena is a true mentor and her personality was one of the things I noticed right away. She’s very encouraging, friendly and comfortable to be around. I can ask questions anytime during our lesson and she is happy to answer them. On multiple occasions, I’ve had to change our lesson time due to a conflicting event and she is very accommodating. If I have general questions about Korea or certain things I want to know about the culture or food…I trust her opinion. She’s very knowledgeable!
