I come from Riga - the capital of Latvia. I always had a passion for the Latvian language so I am very excited to teach it to others.
At age 21 I moved to UK to study music and now have a Bachelors in Music from Chichester University, PGCE (A teaching degree) in Secondary Music from Sussex University and an MA in Advanced Opera Performance from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama.
For the last 5 years I have taught singing and piano privately and in schools and worked as a Teaching Assistant in primary schools.Me as a Teacher
I have great passion for teaching - I am patient and encouraging and I try to find fun in the learning process. I adapt my teaching style to each individual student and plan the lessons accordingly.My lessons & teaching style
I offer General Lessons which will cover vocabulary and grammar and Conversation Lessons in which we will talk about different subjects based on your interests and discuss videos and articles.My teaching material

Tina is very good at providing examples of how to speak in specific tenses and why. I thought her style is very positive and encouraging.

Tina is always patient and fun to talk to. She offers a great balance between conversation and structured class. Today, on top of grammar and vocabulary, we put an emphasis on pronunciation which was very insightful.
