Hi guys! I am Maria and i come from the beautiful city of Thessaloniki. I am a violinist who lives in the Netherlands.
I had the chance in the last years to teach my own language to foreigners who were interested to learn Greek and who wants to explore everything about greek culture. I have a passion about teaching and learning languages and i have a 5 years expetience on teaching greek and more than 10 years teaching violin and piano as i am a musician too! Recently i am teaching english for beginners and kids here on italki.

Speaking is the most important part while you learn a language. So i suggest to speak Greek as much as you can. No matter if you do mistakes! we learn from them! I keep our conversations very natural 'cause i want to make the student feel confortable speaking Greek. We can talk about anything you want! But of course except speaking part we work also on the grammar, reading, pronunciation & writing. Step by step you will become fluent in Greek! Trust me!My lessons & teaching style

Maria and I have such a strong connection.
Not only does she help me with my Greek, she is always super uplifting if I feel as my Greek is not good enough.
She reminds me that no matter what we're learning, may it be language, how to sing, how to play a musical instrument, we are improving every single day and it doesn't matter if you are a beginner or an advanced learner of the skills you have/wanna have.
I cannot thank the team at Italki for providing me with an amazing teacher. I am so lucky to be her student.
