I'm Alex, nice to meet you! I'm Italian but I've been studying and working abroad for over a decade, which means I won't be speaking English with a thick and stereotypical Italian accent! I lived and studied in America, Britain, Japan, and Thailand, where I'm currently based. I am passionate about learning new languages and cultures, cooking and trying new dishes, traveling, and playing video games! I believe that learning a new language is the best investment you can make in your life. It unlocks a lot of new and exciting opportunities and broadens your horizons. I am a certified CELTA and TESOL instructor with a decade of experience teaching English to speakers of other languages, from young learners to adults, both on-site and online. I have recently started to craft and offer simple Italian lessons for beginners & intermediate Italian language learners too, so I hope to see you in my classes!My lessons & teaching style
I can teach you English or Italian using textbooks, or simply by watching YouTube videos, listening to and singing songs, reading the news, etc. (It depends on your level and what you're into). When you book your first lesson with me, PLEASE don't forget to tell me a bit about yourself (language level, reason for studying, learning preferences / needs if any, etc.). A lot of students forget to do it. This is very important to avoid wasting precious lesson time trying to figure things out on the spot. If I know who you are and what you need, I can prepare suitable teaching materials for our lesson.My teaching material
