I'll be starting a new job in October and will therefore only be able to offer lessons on weekends, off-days and holidays.
Hey, my name is Karim, and I'm from a northern German island called Föhr. After completing my master’s degree in Portuguese Literature at the University of Lisbon, I decided to move back to Germany and continue tutoring on italki.Me as a Teacher
As a community tutor, I make it my goal to offer lessons that are casual yet thorough. I want my students to not only feel comfortable trying out new words and sentences but also receive constructive feedback so they can use these new structures with confidence in future interactions.My lessons & teaching style
My lessons are split into two-thirds speaking and one-third revision. We’ll start with a casual conversation or a topic of your choice, during which I’ll note any mistakes. I’ll then have you translate structures from English to German for further clarification.
In the first lesson, we’ll get to know each other and discuss work, studies, or daily life. In later lessons, we can explore news articles or videos that interest you to build a varied vocabulary.
