Jambo! I am Janet from Nairobi, Kenya. and I am a Native Swahili, kamba and English speaker. Think of me as a new friend ready to walk with you in this learning journey. I love meeting and interacting with new people because I believe there's always something to learn from everyone you meet. In my free time I love reading personal development books, watching movies, cooking and spending time with friends and family.

Me as a Teacher

I am a very friendly and approachable person. I believe that making mistakes are the best way to learn a language and I'll be there to guide you every step of the way. I will be teaching Swahili and Kamba languages for beginners to advanced speakers. I will help you improve your pronunciation, articulation and sentence construction. Whether your aim is to learn Swahili and Kamba for conversational or travelling purposes or want to increase your fluency, I'll be there to help you along.

My lessons & teaching style

My classes are student focused, designed with your needs in mind. Our class will be fun with lots of conversations and interactions. We will focus on reading, writing & grammar. Assignments are a key part of our learning as they allow me to assess your understanding and provide support where needed. But not to worry it wont be too much.
