Hi, I'm Sofia, I'm 23 years old, I love learning languages and I'm here on Italki as a student too!
I have a degree in Digital Communication, and I'm passionate about traveling and experiencing life in different countries. I've had the opportunity to live in Belgium for 5 months, and soon I'll be spending 10 months in France. I have lots of interests including reading fantasy novels and manga, and watching comedy, fantasy, mystery series, and Asian dramas.Me as a Teacher
As a teacher, I'm very patient and aim to be seen more as a friendly, approachable person you can talk to freely without fear of judgment— like a friend. I always listen to your needs and will adapt each lesson to what you require, so, in the trial lesson, feel free to tell me your preferred approach, whether you want to be corrected or not, the topics you enjoy discussing, and if you'd like to use additional resources.My lessons & teaching style
For intermediate learners, I suggest we have conversations entirely in Italian, supported by articles, videos, or podcasts. I also provide a shared document where I note down all the important or interesting expressions that come up during our discussions, which you'll have as a PDF afterward.
For beginners, we can try having short conversations in Italian, switching to English when needed. We'll use a document to write down the vocabulary you'd like to learn and work on building complete sentences together.My teaching material

This was my first time speaking Italian for several years. Once I told Sofia that I wanted to give it a go just in Italian, she switched just to Italian and was perfect. Chatting and patiently helping me. Sofia is friendly, patient and a great italki tutor. Hopefully my Italian will be better next time. I enjoyed the lesson.
