I've had the privilege of working with Roselle for several lessons now, and I can only say great things about my experience with her. Cebuano is a "heart language" for those of us who speak it and/or were raised in it, but it can sometimes be considered a second-class language (and culture!) in the Philippines compared to Tagalog. Furthermore, it is not as often taught formally in school, and a lot of Cebuano literature, music, and media can go overlooked.
My experience of Roselle is as a teacher who is also passionate about Cebuano as such a "heart language", who also delights in the regional idiosyncrasies of the various Cebuano dialects, and who treats it both with the seriousness it deserves, and the levity it so often conveys and is known for! In my experience on iTalki and elsewhere, this is hard to find, and I count myself blessed to be learning from her.
