Hi. This Chiharu.I was born and raised in Tokyo Japan. I love children so I became a kindergarten teacher after graduating from 2 years of college. I am also a mother of 4 children. They speak English and Japanese since we are an international marriage couple. It is challenging to raise them bilingual but I have passion and enjoy to teach them Japanese. We live on big island in Hawaii. Trying to live on self sufficiency life style. We have 14 chickens and many raised bed gardens to enjoy growing our own sources to live. I also like traveling and learning other countries cultures and languages.Me as a Teacher
I have experienced working as a kindergarten teacher in Japan for 8 years. Taught them Hiragana and Katakana getting ready for their next grade in school. I also have experienced in home school for my own children while they learn Japanese. My passion is to teach Japanese while we learn together. It makes me happy when they are able to talk or use what we learned together as it also builds confidence.My lessons & teaching style
In my lesson , we focus on practicing daily conversation based on the material called "irodori"
that you can also download on line.
I also like to have some free talking time as well using Japanese. It makes for a positive learning experience.My teaching material
