いっしょに 日本語(にほんご)を はなしましょう!
I am from Okayama, Japan but currently living in Belfast, UK. I have a bachelor degree of Education from Okayama University and worked as a primary school teacher in Japan. I also completed the Japanese Language Teacher Training Course by the Human Academy and I am fully qualified to teach Japanese as a foreign language.
When I moved to Belfast from Japan, I was not able to speak English and understand locals. After 16 years living here, (my English is not perfect), I can speak English with confidence - also with a bit of Belfast accent!

- Some of my students started to learn Japanese from the very beginning with me but now they can speak Japanese confidently.
- Some pf my students passed JLPTs after we prepared for the exams together.
Only limited slots are open on ITALKI.
Thank you!

Noriko is a wonderful teacher. She finds a really good balance between grammar, discussion, vocab and having fun. I’ve been a student of hers for just over a year and our lessons are something I look forward to every week. I’ve made progress from Beginner level to working on N3 level.

I have been taking classes with Noriko sensei for a while now, and not only I feel a big improvement in my fluency and confidence while speaking, also I have become very confident in understanding a normal paced conversation. All this has been achieved without a weird moment in our always interesting and fun classes. Noriko also has an amazing and fun assortment of resources to help exposure to the language: a podcast, youtube channel, a webpage with resources and her podcast episodes' transcripts and more. I am always looking forward to our next class and hope to keep on learning from her. Thanks a lot Noriko Sensei

This was my 20th lesson with Noriko. Her lessons have been amazing and my Japanese keeps improving immensely. She pushes me just enough, so I keep learning, but not so much that I get overwhelmed. The lessons are based on communication, but we've also practiced reading (especially because I want to) and now we started to read a book together (Kiki's delivery service). I'm super slow, but Noriko explains any questions I have and I think this will be a huge thing for my Japanese and my learning to read kanji and Japanese in general.
I love the flexibility of our classes and additionally join the writing challenges Noriko has started to host (and obviously listen to the podcasts as well). Noriko is the best Japanese teacher I've found and the I never feel like "oh no, I don't want to do the lesson today". Even on bad days, when I'm tired, we might adjust a bit, but I always learn things and I feel good about my Japanese afterwards.
Noriko has been a huge gift for my Japanese learning!

This really was a fantastic lesson.
I was a little nervous before the lesson but Noriko Sensei made me feel really relaxed after just 2 minutes.
I was suprised that even though my level isnt high we discussed many different topics.
Im really excited for the next lesson.
Thank you!!
