Zeynep

Really, Zeynep is an amazing teacher. This was my fourth lesson with her and I wanted to wait until I was sure before writing a review. She has everything someone could want from a foreign language teacher: knowledge, pedagogical skills, the ability to draw out the student, great homework exercises, patience. She is also a truly lovely person. I feel really lucky I chose her for a trial lesson a few weeks ago. She will be a terrific teacher for you if you want to learn Turkish.

Zeynep is an amazing language teacher! One of the things I like most about taking lessons with her is that she has really developed her classes for students to progress at a steady rate. The classes are very planned and well organized, so I feel like I am learning a bit more each time and building upon previous classes. Zeynep is also a wonderful person and has a really nice and easy going personality. She is easy to talk to, even when I am talking to her with my elementary Turkish! If you are thinking about taking a lesson with Zeynep, don't hesitate!

Zeynep structures her lessons very well—you learn so much in every lesson, and Zeynep makes sure to cover both what you’re interested in and what is most necessary at whatever level you’re at. In today’s lesson, we covered if-then statements in Turkish—a widely applicable and interesting sentence structure. Teşekkürler, Zeynep!

Really excellent lesson!

Zeynep is a very talented and careful teacher, who really can model her excellent class material according to the students' needs. Definitely recommend her!

I have now had many lessons with Zeynep and I can confidently say is a very patient and helpful teacher who has a deep understanding of some of the more nuanced aspects and complexities of Turkish grammar. What really makes her stand out as a teacher is her ability to explain these nuances to me in native-level English, which is a skill that most Turkish teachers unfortunately don't have. She has a friendly personality and I enjoy chatting with her during lessons. Furthermore, she is very conscientious and accommodating of my personal needs and goals with studying Turkish. Her experience, knowledge and fluency make her a great Turkish teacher, whether you are a beginner or a more advanced student.
