My name is Annie Luo, and I am from Beijing. I've been passionately teaching Chinese for over 10 years. In addition to teaching, I also have a keen interest in learning Spanish. Outside of work, I enjoy exploring new destinations, experimenting with cooking, and staying active through exercise. Teaching languages and exchanging cultural experiences brings me immense joy. I am a highly patient teacher who empathizes with the challenges of learning a new language. I tailor each lesson meticulously to suit your proficiency level and individual needs. While I uphold a disciplined approach during classes, I remain flexible to accommodate the unique circumstances of each student. Every lesson is conducted with utmost seriousness and dedication. My class is well structured and meanwhile have lots of fun. I made my own teaching material based on my experience and common mistake that the students make.I made 3 speaking books,1 story book and 1 character book for beginner and intermediate level student. For advanced students, I also use movie, news,debate,audio etc. The class normally include review, new class and conclusion with homework. My experience teaching have provided me with the necessary background and tools to be able to prepare full comprehensive and self-managed lessons. you can also watch more teaching videos of me on Youtube:

Annie is one of my favorite language teachers. She's always comes prepared, but she's also able to quickly adapt her classes depending on the parts I find confusing, how fast or slow I learn, and my personal interests. I started with Annie as a complete beginner, and I've learned so much more than I expected to in the ~30 hours of lessons we've had so far. Classes with Annie are always fun and I look forward to it week.

Ms. Luo is a supportive and engaging instructor with tons of material perfectly suited to any student! I was nervous about my first Chinese lesson in over 4 years, but she is an expert at keeping the lesson paced perfectly and I did not feel lost at all.
