My name's Jorge. I'm living in Japan right now but I was born in Salamanca (Spain). I graduated in French philology at Salamanca University. Salamanca is well known for its university and a lot of students from all over the world come every year to study Spanish. When I was a student I was very interested in languages and in different cultures. In my free time I love to stay with my family, but also, I enjoy playing the guitar (although I'm not very good) and reading literature in Spanish and French. I really love authors as Cervantes, Galdós, Modiano and Delibes.Me as a Teacher
I have a Master's Degree in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language. I've got more than ten years of experience. In the past 10 years I've been working at some universities in Japan. Before, I've been also teaching in France and in some language schools at Salamanca and at Kyoto. I really love my job and I like to get fun in my classes, so I always try to select interesting materials. In addition, I remember when I was 16 years old, I spent a month learning French with native teachers, I really really enjoyed that time and I learnt a lot. And that’s my goal, I try to help my students to learn Spanish and get fun at the same time.My lessons & teaching style
I like to prepare my classes in advance, and choose the right materials according to your level and your interests. I’m very patient and I always try to speak slowly and clearly. I could use French, some English or even some Japanese but I prefer make an effort and use only Spanish in my classes. I’ll give you a lot of examples, I’ll make you a lot of questions, etc. because my goal is to make you speak, is to make you used to a new language. And then, help you to improve your level.My teaching material
