I believe learning a second language is a life-long process, which means it should be fun! Otherwise, it is really difficult to lose motivation. 
Also, the class should be useful in our daily life. 
How do you feel if you cannot use what you learned in class when you meet a new Korean friend?

I would like to use quite recent materials, such as video clips, news, journals, books, etc. to make a learning process interest enough :)!  
Of course, the fields of your interest are always welcomed!

You are able to choose either option 1 or option 2.

Only Practice makes Perfect. Especially in writing.  
In the class, to improve your writing, you will share your writing in advance, using google document, and I will do proofreading. 
You are able to learn how to write correct sentences, which is different from Speaking.

If there are specific grammar that you felt difficult to use, I would give you a extra homework to practice.

Have you ever try to read a Korean book for your language skill? 
If so, you can tell that It is not easy to finish one book.
You may start with a huge, ambitious mindset, but after several weeks, you feel like it is gone. 
You might be exhausted with finding new words or grammar rules, and sometimes you might be obsessed with one line that you cannot understand.

Let me help you to finish the book without this tiring process : )!

The reasons that I picked the first book is 
1. It's easy to read with simple and short sentences, 
2. It has cute illustrations, 
3. It will make you grateful for what you have right now.

The reasons that I picked the second book is 
1. It's easy to relate to people living in the melancholic 21st century, 
2. It consists of dialogue of the author and counselor in each chapter, 
3. It has been a quite popular book (best selling in an essay section), 
4. and lastly, I AM a counselor! :P
