2 and 3.  Business English: This lesson draws on my significant levels of knowledge and expertise in owning and running a business, and is aimed at helping you to efficiently run meetings, prepare for an interview, conduct meetings and do presentations. I will go through formal lessons based on a well-respected text book.  We work at your level of English to learn to write or speak, or run meetings in the world of commerce. 

4. Presentation: We practise the detailed sentences you will wish to use, and practise answering questions at a high level, so that you are confident and relaxed when talking.

We go through all potential questions, including the ones you may wish to ask of others, and we look at your presentation style.  You will need to do your homework for this one.

Specialist: Group, Business English,  Medical English, IELTS or Beginners

If you want to book a lesson to help prepare for a presentation, please book the Business Class. Build vocab lesson: . Only B1 - C1 levels.  This is the class I give most of my students. I normally charge $30 per hour for this kind of lesson.

 It is more intense, and I give a lot more in this type of lesson. In this lesson, you might be required to read texts and listen to movies that may challenge you a bit, depending on your needs and requirements.

I do not do any formal teaching of grammar - but I do teach grammar that comes up in conversation.

You might need/wish to do a little homework and write some short essays on occasion in order to ensure that you are focussing on conversational grammar and working through the subtleties of the meaning of words. 

Any texts that we use will help you to improve pronunciation and fluency, whilst increasing vocabulary. Homework, if you wish to do it, also includes watching and discussing Youtube/TEDx videos - series or films.

Remember that 3/4 hour lessons and packages are even more of a bargain!.

I studied the treatment of people who had physical, mental and perceptual difficulties. Throughout, we had extensive practicals, and much supervision.

I studied Greek, Hebrew and the dissection of texts, as well as marketing, philosophy, psychology and counselling and far more.

I took a TEFL certificate through TEFL Training, and gained my certificate after having stated teaching English to others.

I worked with students of English in the UK and in South Africa, both in formal and informal settings. I taught general conversational English and business English, drawing on a wealth of experience in the business arena.

I worked in the business arena for many years, training many in soft skills. There after, I started a business of my own, and ran it for three years.  It was a holiday company, so I have experience in starting and running a business. What I don't have is specific, high-level IT or accounting experience. However, I can teach Business English from the point of view of experience and further learning.
