Hi! My name is Yannis and I am a native Greek speaker. I was born and grew up in Athens but I have been living in Hamburg for a few years. I hold a Bachelor in Political Sciences from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and a MSc from the University of Rotterdam in English. I love travelling and meeting new people from different cultures. My interests include cinema,sports, literature, international relations and the environment.Ich als Lehrkraft
In the last few years I had the chance to to teach the Greek language to non Greeks or to those of a Greek decent. As a result of trying to learn German, I know very well how hard it can be learning a new language. Therefore I am patient and I speak slowly for my students to understand me. I adjust my teaching method and material depending on each student needs. I prefer engaging my students with topics of everyday life situations and according to their specific needs. I focus a lot on conversations as I think this is the most effective way to learn. The more you talk, the easier it gets!

Τα μαθήματα με τον Γιάννη κάνουν πάρα πολύ πλάκα και μαθαίνεις πολύ καλά τα Ελληνικά σου. Άρχισα τρία χρόνια πρίν με περίπου επίπεδο Α1 και έχω τώρα Γ1 και μπορώ να πώ και να ακούω τα περισσότερα ... Πολύ έξυπνος και ευγενικός δάσκαλος με χιούμορ, μια χαρά είναι.
