Hi, my name is Zakieh. I was born and raised in south of Iran before moving to Tehran for university. I studied medicine and a few years after graduation, I moved to the UK.
I love learning languages and have a passion for teaching. I've been teaching Persian and English since 2021. currently I'm learning Arabic and re-learning German.
In my free time, I enjoy painting, writing, singing and playing the Setar, a traditional Iranian musical instrument.
Ich als Lehrkraft
I aim to make the learning process as easy as possible. Seeing my student's improvement brings me joy, so I ensure they understand every lesson thoroughly. I'm patient and will adjust my teaching methods to suit each student's learning style to achieve the best results.
Meine Stunden und mein Unterrichtsstil
You don't need to learn the Persian alphabet immediately if you don't want to; we can use Finglish! (Farsi words written in English letters) instead.
I recommend starting with the basic core grammar and sentence construction rather than memorizing everyday greetings and phrases.
I will write the new words and sentences in the chat box in English, Persian and Finglish so you can learn the pronunciation while revising the lesson.
For intermediate and advanced students, We will have relaxed conversations. We can either chose a topic or simply discuss day-to-day activities.
Patient and pleasant. Has been flexible to my offbeat learning style.

2 Persisch (Farsi) Unterrichtsstunden
Great first lesson. Focus on spoken Farsi. We reviewed the grammatical structure and started making sentences right away. Made the language seem approachable and accessible.

I had a very fruitful discussion with Zakieh about the current usage of medical terms in Persian.
