Hello!
My name is Evgueni (please call me JC) and I come from the vibrant city of New York, USA. I have spent nearly half my life living in Asia, learning many new cultures and meeting many new people.
I used to teach in classrooms but now I teach in private. I also write books and make short films. In my spare time I like to play football, tennis and delve into Climate Change and Astrophysics research.
Currently, I teach English, French and Russian. Classroom experience: 3 years (S.Korea,China and Japan). Private teaching experience: 4+ years

I have worked in high pressure environments such as company meeting halls with large groups of people but I prefer to teach in private. I think 1-on-1 lessons are far more beneficial than other types of lessons. Other lessons may indeed be more fun but you will likely learn less, so, at the end of the day it's a waste of time and money. That's my professional opinion.

I am very laid back and flexible. You don't need to worry! In my classes, I always start with a brief introduction conversation and then we look at a variety of materials, these include reading, grammar and vocabulary. I also give homework, which is typically worksheets and short essays. We can discuss these in the next class and I can provide real-time corrections.
