Hello. I'm Nora and a native Korean with 8 years of experience in teaching in public school of Korea. I have a Korean language teaching certificate as well as a TESOL certificate. I've traveled to many countries such as Japan, America, Germany, Canada, Thailand etc, and during this time I've lived and taught.
Learning the Korean language with me is very enjoyable and easy to understand!

Since 2011 I have been teaching in Korea, full time at elementary schools, and part time tutoring Korean, as well as with private students. I am also experienced in teaching online, having taught many students. My lessons are fun and are a mix of reading, writing, listening and speaking, with a focus on conversation, but I can tailor lessons to focus on any skills that you would like to improve.

These first few lessons with Nora have been nice. She has a plan and is able to pretty well get me to speak even while I struggle a lot and panic while trying to make some sentences. Very fun teacher to talk with, very positive too when I get something right ^^

I’ve been studying with Nora for a few years now and she is the best! She’s encouraging when I get down about not progressing as much as I want, but also super fun and inspiring to talk with when I’m feeling good! She’s also very good at explaining difficult concepts in a tangle way and her curriculum is very organized. She’s my favorite teacher I’ve ever learned with. Can’t recommend highly enough!

이제 Nora선생님과 수업을 한 지 1년 됐어요. 선생님이 열심히 준비하고 수업에 적당한 재료를 사용해요. 수업마다 긍정적으로 해서 재미있고 자연스럽게 많이 배울 수 있어요. 선생님 덕분에 한국어도 많이 배웠고 자신감도 많이 생겼어요. 배웠던 한국어를 일상생활에 자주 쓸 수 있어요! 앞으로도 열심히 공부하겠습니다!

it’s my first lesson restarting my korean language learning journey since 2020. Kang Nora 선생님 was very welcoming and kind! she also remembers a lot of the details of our previous lessons which were a long time ago. She makes the lessons easy to follow along with for better learning while patiently making sure you understand everything. I always feel like I’ve improved a lot after every lesson with her.
