은애 Eunae Kim

Amazing as always. I just completed my 10th full lesson. It’s always nice that I’m allowed to struggle and fight to remember vocabulary since I know this will happen when practicing outside of class. She’s quick to make sentences and examples for any mistakes made. She can make a quick mini lesson in 1 -2 slides while still going over planned learning materials. She finds your weaknesses and helps you improve them. She’s also incredibly patient and encouraging. You’ll never be discouraged or embarrassed. Looking forward to many more lessons. I had a lesson with Ms. Eunae in which I chose the material for the lesson. As with my previous lessons so far, it has been an enjoyable and very productive class. I sent her a PDF file of some words, phrases, and grammar related to setting up appointments. She gave great insight into how some of the words and phrases were used. The key take-away here was her ability to very accurately point out and explain the nuanced differences between seemingly similar expressions. We also spent time going over a grammar structure that has plagued me for years. She gave her take on it and outlined the use cases for me. And as per her style, we incorporated it into our conversation so I can actually try to use that grammar structure in various scenarios. I left the lesson feeling like I have a sharpened understanding of stuff I was previously weak in. Whether you have material of your own or you want to rely on her content, there's always something you can take away from her lessons. Thanks again!

Today we tried a different format, which was proposed on the previous lesson, and I really enjoyed it! I had a lot of fun reviewing the material and I'm excited to do it for next class.

I haven't taken Korean classes in almost a year, so my l have forgotten a lot of things, however 은애 선생님 has gone back and reviewed with me what I need to remember again so that I can keep learning!

은예 쌤 is the best! She is very knowledgeable, patient, and gives the right balance of feedback. She is always prepared for class, follows up with homework in a timely manner, and is willing to answer all of my questions in detail. I highly recommend her.
