Hello, my name is Sindy, I was born and raised in Germany and I am a native German speaker. I traveled the world for 8 years (with my own motorcycles and cars) and lived and worked in 11 countries. Now I live in Bali with my dog Winston. I am also a facilitator for breathwork, meditation and ice baths. Hallo, mein Name ist Sindy, ich bin in Deutschland geboren und aufgewachsen und ich bin deutsche Muttersprachlerin. Ich bin 8 Jahre lang um die Welt gereist (mit meinen eigenen Motorrädern und Autos) und habe in 11 Ländern gelebt und gearbeitet. Jetzt lebe ich in Bali mit meinem Hund Winston. Ich bin auch Facilitator für Atemarbeit, Meditation und Eisbäder.

Ich als Lehrkraft

Before teaching on italki in 2020, I worked as an English teacher in Seoul. During my time here, I helped more then 1000 students prepare for language exams, job interviews, and develop confidence in speaking with colleagues, spouses, and more. I am very patient and have a calm and easy-going character, which has proven to be very positive for my students repeatedly. Vor italki arbeitete ich als Englischlehrerin in Seoul. Hier habe ich mehr als 1000 Schülern erfolgreich geholfen, sich auf Sprachprüfungen und Vorstellungsgespräche vorzubereiten und Selbstvertrauen im Umgang mit Kollegen, Partnern usw. zu entwickeln. Ich bin sehr geduldig und habe eine ruhige und ausgeglichene Art.

Yup, it's me again, everyone! One hour felt like a nice breezy chit chat about life. Each class with Sindy makes me feel so encouraged and honestly, we just jive really well. Sindy asks interesting questions relevant to my life, knows when to let me free-flow and when to interject/support me. She lets me get my complicated thought out and carefully help me rebuild the sentences correctly, never overwhelms! Thanks Sindy. Lucky to have ya!

Sindy has an incredibly calming personality that makes you feel comfortable immediately. The lesson is structured and ensures you learn both formal German as well as everyday spoken German which is critical for communication. I highly recommend her!
