It was fun! We talked about different animals and different attitudes about foreign places in the world. Some people act like no one and nothing of importance exists outside of their country or area. This is an attitude in my state. Some people want to learn foreign languages or try different global foods. We fit in the latter category. Most of our economies wouldn't exist in their current state without a wide variety of people from a wide variety of areas. We laughed.

It was a good class. I'm trying to reorient myself to Cape Verdean Portuguese. Close to Portuguese Portuguese. We talked about politics. Cooking. Plans to travel.

I really like working with Jose. He teaches me Portuguese vocabulary and phrases; and we role play on what he has taught. I think those are the most useful ways to learn basic conversation quickly in any language. Ronald....

My first Kriolu lesson with José was great. He taught me lots of useful conversational phrases. Looking forward to the next one.

Fun class. Portuguese Portuguese still throws me. We talked about the deep state, religion, and personal things. I´m understanding better. I can follow most of what José says, maybe.
