Hello, my name is Imelda. I am a licensed professional teacher in the Philippines. My experience as an ESL tutor online is almost 5 years. I was also a classroom teacher for more than 20 yrs. I am a Visayan(Cebuano) native speaker because I was born in the region where Cebuano is the official dialect. I can teach you how to speak it with the right pronunciation and accent as how it should be spoken. If you have plans of visiting the Philippines, learning Cebuano is helpful because it is one of the most widely spoken dialects in the country.

Aside from being a licensed teacher, I am also a TESOL and TEYL certified. I can teach both young and adult students. As I teach, I always consider my students' knowledge level. I encourage them to ask questions and tell me how I may help them more without hesitations. I'm aware that starting something is not always easy, so I'm always patient and understanding when it comes to their learning pace. Meine Stunden und mein Unterrichtsstil

Since you are going to learn a new language, I am going to explain every small detail and give you helpful tips every now and then. There are a lot of helpful information that are so hard to put into writing, so I give more and more examples until you understand the concept. As I do lessons with my students, I always observe their gestures and reactions since I can feel whether they like the way I present the lesson or not. I always try new strategies that may work for every unique student.
