Hello :D I'm Hailey, qualified Korean teacher who has an official Korean teacher's license. I'm currently living in NYC and working as a full-time Korean teacher. Have you ever experienced learning languages but noticed that you are unable to use them in the daily life conversation? 1. For the very beginner – We need to master "Hangeul" which is Korean alphabet. You can finish learning Hangeul in about 5 classes (2 weeks).
2. Beginner (A1-A2) - Usually consistent students (2 times a week) get to A2 level when they finish 20 classes with me. Which is about 3 months. This level, you can speak present/past/future tense naturally and we can communicate with easy expressions.
3. Intermediate (B1-B2): Now it's time to focus on Sino-Korean words. We will try to expand our expressions - use different speaking grammars that have the same meaning and get the intention of speaking. I've been teaching Korean online for 4 years and know the most efficient way to study on the small screen of a computer. I don't prefer lecture-style classes. We need to use limited time to communicate as much as we can, make diverse setences with making mistakes, chit-chat about many differnet issues happening in Korea! Also I love giving a task in the class, so that we can check what is your weakness and strength. I will share all of my class materials. (Book, Vocab list, Mp3 files...) Before starting private classes, I was very shy and hesitant to speak Korean. 보빈 is so enthusiastic and encouraging every time we meet, and I am feeling much more comfortable now!
