My name is Tahmina Taghi. I love learning foreign languages and make friends all over the world. I am a PhD in chemical engineering. My main job is teaching chemistry and chemical engineering in English in English in UFAZ (French-Azerbaijani University) and ASOIU (Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University).
I have an experience in working with foreigners.
Ich als Lehrkraft
I enjoy learning more languages. And I also love to share my knowledge. I teach my students with the metodology I use when I learn languages. I have been teaching for 10 years (before starting to teach on italki I had taught local students at home). I teach not only languages, but also chemistry. I help schoolchildren with their homework. Usually my students start speaking in short terms, as initially I do not lose time for details and focus on the main things that are important for being able to speak. At lessons I also send my students texts to read and traslate, sometimes to retell. This is necessary to help student start speaking soon. I have free online language groups.
Meine Stunden und mein Unterrichtsstil
I teach the basic grammar first. After the lessons I send the materials by e-mail. Usually I prepare them myself, but somtimes I use also some books and test materials. When a student already can speak and communicate and if he/she wishes to continue learning and maintenancing his/her skills, then we continue our lessons more detailed. I explain them more difficult and more interesting things. We continue practicing and advancing the knowledge of my studets. Last but not least, I add my students to my free online language groups, where they can communicate with one-another and practise the language the learn.
Tahmina is a woman with a plan. She assessed my level and skills, and then immediately set to work designing a curriculum path for me. She corrected well, and overall seems, after one lesson, to be a good teacher. I look forward to improving my fluency with her, so that we can use less and less- and (hopefully) soon no English in the lesson whatsoever.

Another superb lesson. We started off with a conversation, then we worked on reading and vocabulary.

Today we did a lot of things : went over some grammar points, read and translated a text about Van Gogh, translated some sentences and finally talked for about 10 minutes. Thanks you for the lesson.
