Hello! My name is Stratos and I am from Greece! I have been teaching English and Greek for the last 21 years! Since my first year in university I started teaching Greek and English as a foreign language to students of all ages.
My yearning for upgrading my knowledge on teaching and pedagogy has lead me to continue my studies and acquire my master on Special Education. Moreover, I am certified to teach blind and deaf students because I am familiar with the Braille system and the Sign language.
But that's not where it stops, I am currently studying at the pedagogical department of Aegean university.Ich als Lehrkraft
I have been a teacher since I remember myself because it's my passion and what I like to do! Apart from teaching Greek I am a certified English teacher as well with various skills such as communication, patience and adaptability which I highly believe are the main qualities a good teacher must possess.
I adopt a mulitcultural approach in my lessons due to the fact that I enjoy students feeling comfortable and also I'm really interested in learning about other cultures' beliefs and values.Meine Stunden und mein Unterrichtsstil
My teaching aprroach is strictly learner-centered because I believe that there aren't students who can't learn, just teachers who don't adjust their teaching methods according to their students' needs. That's the reason why I am always eager to help students learn using the teaching style which is closer to their needs and will help them learn faster and more productively.
I always consider that every student is an opportunity to learn something new because as a teacher I have learned that during the proccess of learning it's not only students that learn but also teachers who keep their ears and eyes open!Mein Unterrichtsmaterial
