I'm Junko Nakajima, a native Japanese but I have lived in Hong Kong for 30 years. I do love meeting people and talking to them so I would say tutoring business is my profession. Apart from working as a tutor, I had a small business that exported Chinese products to other countries. This experience helps me teach business Japanese to some of my students. When I have spare time, I usually play music. I like to play guitar, bass and drums. I play bass in the band. I used to teach guitar to young kids for a while. I taught swimming in HK Japanese primary school for a decade. I like kids very much.

Ich als Lehrkraft

I started working as a Japanese tutor in one of famous language institutes in Hong Kong. And I found that it's what I wanted to do quickly. I really love to meet people and talk with them. HK is a big international city and finance hub so that I have loads of experience to teach business people. Some classes were corporated classes in the headge funds. On top of that I taught Japanese in the secondary schools. So I am very confident to teach from kids to adults, HK people, Chinese people and people from overseas.

Meine Stunden und mein Unterrichtsstil

My method is very unique. I usually have an assessment when I have a trial lesson. Then I would pick up some interesting material that adjust to the student. I am interested in many Japanese cultures including sub-cultures, such as animes and Japanese TV seriese. I sometimes use those material to teach. Teenagers like this style classes very much. Some students want to take JLPT to brush up their Japanese. I can help them prepare it. I have many students who passed JLPT N1 and N2. I am very confident. And I have many material to teach them. My preparation for online classes is perfect due to Pandemic. I'm sure all the Japanese learners can enjoy my class.
