Hello, my name is Yaniv (יָנִיב), I was born and raised in Israel, Hebrew is my native language and I’m also fluent in German and English.
I moved to Germany about 4 years ago to learn German and pursue my film projects and studies here. I had a great experience studying German and integrating into the culture. Throughout the past 4 years I’ve discovered I have a natural talent for languages and learning and teaching languages brings me a lot of joy.Ich als Lehrkraft
I put a lot of effort into tailoring the lesson to your needs and wishes! If it's your first time learning a language this way I can assure you we will find together the most efficient and fun way for you to learn Hebrew :)
I like giving the background to the words and phrases we will stumble upon and aim for deep understanding of the language and the context in which it’s living. I'm very patient with my students and like helping them express themselves in their own authentic way.

Here on iTalki I offer two kinds of classes- conversation practice for intermediate students and Hebrew classes for all levels of proficiency.
In my conversation practice lessons you will slowly gain confidence in Hebrew and I will encourage you to speak most of the time! I will type out your mistakes with corrections as you speak so we could discuss them at the end of the lesson or when the conversation reaches a natural pause.
For my Hebrew classes I like using texts, workbooks, videos, news articles and more. We'll go slowly but steadily through all the learning subjects, acquiring helpful vocabulary in various life topics and situations and practicing right pronunciation in Hebrew.Mein Unterrichtsmaterial

Yaniv is a great teacher and a wonderful human being. He is patient and supportive and creates a non-stressful environment where it's okay to make mistakes. He really cares about his students too. Highly recommend!

I enjoy immensely Yaniv's manner of teaching. He does a wonderful job facilitating the conversation and this is just what I need as an intermediate student to reach fluency. His social skills are excellent and I hope to borrow some of them, becoming able to formulate my thoughts and feelings in Hebrew in a precise, efficient and respectful way.

Yaniv is a nice, polite and really patient teacher. When we talk he is writing a really uselful document with corrections (even whole sentences), new words, propositions, how to express something better etc.. The document really helps to repeat everything after the lesson and to improve. I recommend taking lessons with Yaniv!
