I love languages and I was always interested in learning something new about languages and different cultures. I speak German and English, Spanish and a small bit of a few other languages. I am also a big reader and love everything from crime and romance to fantasy. My dream in life is to travel the world and make a ton of friends from all over the world. But until then I am working a full-time job in Germany and I will teach German on the side. I have two cats that I adore. You might get to know them, since they like walking in front of the camera :)

Ich als Lehrkraft

Even back in school I loved to help others with their homework and I helped with studying for exams. Later I helped younger students with German, English and Maths. I always wanted to become a teacher, but didn't like the fact of having to go to school so long :) Right now I am learning a lot about my native language by teaching others. I am so happy whenever I can help someone with their German. I hope we can explore the German language together. I have a lot of materials about the german grammar rules. Depending on what you need I can structure the lesson for you. I teach in english, if you don't speak english you should at least understand enough german so that I can teach in German.

Meine Stunden und mein Unterrichtsstil

Here are some lesson-types and topics that I would like to do: - Communication - Pronunciation - Grammar But first you should know what lessons I don't want to do: - Exam preparation (I am not a professional teacher) - Help with Homework (We could talk about things you don't understand in School, but I won’t do your homework) - Kids (I am not used to teaching kids a foreign language) - planned lessons (I simply don't have the time to create a studyplan and prepare for lessons, since this is my side job) For first lesson, I would love to get to know you and your level of German.

I've started taking classes with Michelle since a few weeks ago and I couldn't be more pleased with how it's progressed so far. She is very kind and polite, while at the same time catching every mistake that I make when talking. Our sessions are interactive and never boring. I like that she comes with a topic every week and has created a study plan for my learning journey. I'm very happy with my decision and look forward to see where we'd end up by the end of the year. Definitely recommend her classes!
