My name is Petra and I'm a Slovak native speaker. I've fallen in love with languages since I was small and this love still carries on :) I've studied English and German language, but I don't plan to stop there :) For the past several years, I've also been working in international companies. That experience helped me realize how difficult it is for employees to lead an effective business conversation, as it's usually not taught at schools. Therefore I have prepared lectures for this purpose as well.

Ich als Lehrkraft

I've been learning languages myself (I still am), so I understand the struggles the student might encounter during the learning process. I'm very patient and friendly and try to motivate the students to overcome their fear of speaking.

Meine Stunden und mein Unterrichtsstil

Each lesson is different and I strongly focus on encouraging the students to talk from the first lesson. I prepare my own materials that I will provide to you after the lesson. The materials might include audios (for listening comprehension), short texts (for reading comprehension), role plays (for improving speaking abilities) and many others. Trust me, you won't get bored :) If you struggle with daily communication at work (business meetings, presentations) I offer business English/German/Slovak lectures. During these lectures you will learn how to effectively lead or participate in a business meeting, how to talk to difficult customers, how to make a good presentation and much more.
