Hello there! In this trial lesson, I will assess your Spanish level while we chat! No worries, it will be fun and light.

Option 1: ¡Hablemos español!
This is a conversational lesson for intermediate Spanish learners (B1-C2 levels).
We will discuss either a topic you provide or one I suggest according to your interests. 
Our conversational lesson will be excellent to train your listening comprehension and speaking. Further, we can practice your reading and writing by including materials such as digital news or infographics. In this case, those materials would be the topic we will talk about. I will guide you through the grammar points that show up and provide as many examples and sentences in natural Spanish as needed.

Option 2: ¡Hablemos andaluz!
For those eager to speak my dialect! Kindly keep in mind that Andalucía is a big autonomous community with a variety of regions -and many mountainous ones- which affect the dialectal varieties. The one I speak and can teach as an accent coach is the Western Andalusian, spoken primarily in the provinces of Cádiz, Huelva, and Sevilla. However, even this one has big differences such as having either predominant "ceceo" or "seseo" sounds. I have been born in a "ceceo" area. This course includes plenty of multimedia material with people speaking the dialect, such as videos from our local TV, interviews, and a taste of Andalusian culture.

I will guide you through your first steps in learning the beautiful Spanish language. Our lessons will cover all the language skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing. I will provide you with the tools to recognize the most common patterns and grammar points that show up in Spanish and focus on your listening comprehension and pronunciation. Input is vital in this stage, however, I will encourage you to start speaking early and we will check what to improve together.

I am constantly writing short stories in Spanish in three levels: beginner, intermediate and advanced, and two registers: informal and formal. These stories range from friends going for a hike to the mountains to a family of fishermen opening a seafood restaurant. Sky is the limit! We will work with this content to develop and strengthen your listening, reading and speaking. I do my best to write fun and interesting stories to catch your attention and make the learning process more meaningful, since you will learn in context.
