In 2001 I began to teach German as a Foreign Language at the German Cultural Center which is the official representative of the Goethe Institute in the City of Monterrey- Mexico. In 2012 I taught German at the University Regiomontana. It was very satisfactory to prepare students to obtain the Scholarships offered by the DAAD (Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst) to study and to do their Internship in German companies

Goethe certificate in methodology and didactics: Trained teacher with over 8 years of experience I am very lucky because I love my profession. But passion alone is not enough to be a good teacher. You also need didactic, methodical and pedagogical skills. For this reason I decided to attend the distance learning course "DaF Methodik und Didaktik" at the Goethe Institute in June 2019. I successfully passed the final exam. I am convinced that teachers need to be constantly trained, too. So they are able to offer their students the best teaching performance.

I've helped Germans improve their English for 9 years and have taught German for almost 8 years. First, I started acquiring students on a local basis in Berlin and then offered to tutor people abroad. Later I taught German to foreign prisoners in the JVA-Tegel (Tegel prison); thus, I learned how to behave professionally and understand even in stressful situations. My knowledge of German grammar goes beyond the C1 and C2 levels, and I am sure that I can help you improve yours without much effort and, more importantly, without pressure! I am patient and use several different techniques to teach.

I can draw from my own experience of learning a language from scratch. I'm very patient and attentive, and I know exactly how it feels to learn a language - with all the success and the frustration that comes with it. Later I helped younger students with German, English and Maths. I always wanted to become a teacher, but didn't like the fact of having to go to school so long :) Right now I am learning a lot about my native language by teaching others. I am so happy whenever I can help someone with their German. I hope we can explore the German language together. I have a lot of materials about the german grammar rules. Depending on what you need I can structure the lesson for you. I teach in english, if you don't speak english you should at least understand enough german so that I can teach in German.

I took pride in my ability to adapt my English to the appropriate level as they progressed. I was learning German, and this really helped me see things from their perspective. Now I am well-known in the Esperanto community - a regular teacher-in-residence at NASK and other events. In 1988 I became a tutor in a Free Esperanto Course (which I now administer), and when I left my IT career in 2016, I started teaching once a week at the local ESOL Association, as well as tutoring on line and in person. Teaching different languages in these situations has given me a unique perspective.
