I am Colombian I like to travel to know cultures people. I am a spiritual person and I have a beautiful friendship with God. as I like diversity, I enjoy listening to and singing all kinds of music. I am a person who makes friends easily and I strive to be a good friend. I also like food: Peruvian, Mexican, Colombian and many others.

Soy una persona espiritual y tengo una bonita amistad con Dios. como me gusta la diversidad disfruto escuchando y cantando todo tipo de música. I am a good teacher because teaching is a passion that makes me happy. I love seeing the sparkle in the eyes of a person learning something new. I love children and I love teaching them. Also, I enjoy working with all kinds of people including deaf people or people with disabilities. I also have experience with youth, adults, and seniors.
Enseñar es una pasión que me hace feliz. Me encanta ver el brillo en los ojos de una persona que aprende algo nuevo. Amo a los niños y me encanta enseñarles a ellos. Además, disfruto de trabajar con todo tipo de personas incluidas las personas sordas o personas con capacidades diferentes. I adapt to the pace and capacity of each student. My classes are a pleasant time to learn. Through didactics, pedagogy taught so that each student, according to their circumstances and needs, can learn. Friendly conversation and laughter are key when learning a language so this is also part of the classes.
Me adapto al ritmo y capacidad de cada estudiante. Mis clases son un momento agradable en el que se aprende. Por medio de la didáctica, la pedagogía enseño para que cada estudiante según sus circunstancias y necesidades pueda aprender. Learning Spanish is so hard for me; It’s unbelievable how relaxed and comfortable I feel learning from Shirley. She meets me right where I am each class. Shirley gives the most appropriate homework of any italki teacher I have studied with. I would recommend her to anyone at any level of experience.

Shirley provides the opportunity to discuss many topics. It helps with building my vocabulary and my confidence in speaking. The classes are always fun and interesting. I look forward to my class. I am speaking in Spanish to friends and get compliments on how well I am doing.
