What an outstanding first lesson with Emmanuel! He was able to keep the conversation flowing smoothly, using questions to maintain momentum & engagement. He was respectful when providing corrections and also typed them into the chat window for review. Emmanuel spoke at a pace that was suitable for my level and was happy to clarify any points that I didn't understand. He has an excellent, professional-level microphone set-up that greatly assists with hearing him clearly. Emmanuel was very attentive throughout and it was fantastic to have a tutor who wasn't constantly distracted by something else in the room! I am looking to having more lessons with him in the future. Emmanuel is easily one of the best tutors on iTalki!

Emmanuel is fantastic! I really appreciate that he comes to each lesson with a range of resources and tools. I wanted to learn more about Costa Rica for an upcoming trip and he shared a Costa Rican slang document with me and we've been working through some articles about the environment and conservation in Costa Rica. It's a great way to learn new vocabulary and practice pronunciation, while also pushing myself to elevate speaking skills in discussions.

The classes are a nice mix of fun while being challenging and helpful and Emmanuel has been so great about tailoring the classes to my needs and interests! Classes are always fun!!! Highly recommended

A great lesson with Emmanuel as usual! Very professional and also very creative in the activities he uses with his students. He has a good method of reviewing vocabulary that has been learned in recent lessons. Emmanuel shows interest by always having another question for his students which helps keep the conversation flowing smoothly. Highly recommend!

An absolutely first-class teacher! Emmanuel was extremely understanding today when I had an unforeseen emergency right before our lesson began. He was not only understanding, but he also very graciously provided the option to start the lesson almost 30 minutes late or re-schedule it for another day! Unreal! During the lesson Emmanuel was extremely patient once again with my babbling and somewhat tangential Spanish, and provided accurate corrections and explanations as required. He also kept the conversation flowing very smoothly with follow-up/clarifying questions. I couldn't be happier with Emmanuel and will continue to give him my strongest recommendation! Give him a go!
