Hi, I am Saloua, your community tutor! I started teaching French and English during the pandemic and have loved it ever since. I grew up bilingual; my mom is from France, so French was my first language, and then I learned Arabic at school. I love learning languages myself. I started learning English around the age of 15, picked up Spanish during college, and began learning Mandarin Chinese while I was in Asia, surrounded by my Chinese colleagues. I have a degree in Financial Management and I worked in Tech, so feel free to discuss those topics with me. My interests include science, technology, economics, scuba diving, freediving, martial arts, personal development, dancing, and art.

I want the overall experience to be stress free and tailored to your needs and interests. I will either provide a standard course or we can adapt as we go. It's important to speak when learning a language, therefore, during our speaking practice you could suggest a topic or we can have a spontaneous conversation. I always enjoy hearing about other people's interests and what they are into in general, and I often end up learning something new from my students!

Lessons will be adapted according to your learning style (visual, verbal, aural). I will emphasize on the method that works best for you. If you do not know yet what is your learning style, we can find out together! - Beginner to intermediate grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation. - Articles or events as topics for conversation.

She is always friendly, warm and easy to talk to, she takes time to think about your learning needs and creates of ways to tailor her lesson to provide the best way for you to practice and improve. In addition, Saloua always provides lesson notes which also help you learn more. I very much recommend a lesson with Saloua.
