Hi everyone! My name is Yuuki Kojima. I’m a community tutor from Kyoto, Japan. I've been teaching on italki for 3 years or so. I truly love it. I am not a certified Japanese teacher. However, I have 4 years of teaching experience under my belt at a Japanese cram school. I've taught Japanese students English and Japanese in the school. Additionally, I've been doing a lot of a language exchange with people living in other countries. I'm a frequent traveler. I've been to 10 different countries so far. みなさん、こんにちは。私のなまえはこじまゆうきです。京都しゅっしんのコミュニティーチューターです。italkiで二年以上教えています。この仕事が本当に好きです。プロの先生ではありませんが、学習塾で4年の教職歴があります。日本人に英語と日本語を教えました。またいろんな国の人々と言語交換をしてきた経験があります。私は頻繁に旅行します。今まで10カ国に行ったことがあります。

FOUR key elements: ①Making sure you speak as much as you possibly can. I can also get the ball rolling so that you feel comfortable speaking. ②Setting up few easy goals that help you find meanings in your language journey! ③Active learning rather than passive learning. I firmly believe that there's nothing better than taking actions on your own and moving forward. ④Most importantly, to keep reminding yourself of the enjoyment part of language journey! My class is full of fun and laugher! Bring some tea or coffee! 4つの大事にしていること: ①あなたが話したいだけ話せます。 ②簡単な目標を設定すること。③主体的な学習を推進すること。あなた自身で行動を起こし、前に進むのがなによりもいい。④一番大切なことで、言語学習から興奮を得ること。私のクラスは楽しく笑いがあります! お茶かコーヒーを持ってきてもかまいません!

~ Teaching style~ I teach in a relaxed and friendly style. Please do let me know if you want me to correct you on the spot from any perspective like pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, etc. Mistakes are welcomed! All levels are extremely welcomed! I can explain both in Japanese and English. ~Things I've done in my lessons so far~ ・Preparation of JLPT ・Grammar: Beginner(Tenses, Verb forms, Conjunctions, Prepositions, etc) Intermediate(If and wish, determiners, etc) Advanced(Tenses, Comparison, word order, etc) ・Discussion( Formal and informal) ・Pronunciation ・Proofreading ・Writing Kanji ・Reading news articles or children's books PS I have みんなの日本語.

Yuuki is an amazing tutor! Without me even realising, we have advanced so far together and completed the beginner material already! Everybody learns at their own pace and Yuuki provides a comfortable, friendly environment that makes it very easy to learn things and ask as many questions as I need to! arigato gozaimasu! ma ta ne!

It's a nice teacher, which helps works along a textbook, but practice with other medias too. That was my first lesson after the trial lesson and I'm feeling comfortable with his lesson.
