Mutsue

This was my first ever lesson on this platform and I didn't know what to expect however I was pleasantly surprised that Mutsue San was early and knew exactly what she was doing. This was my trial lesson, and based on it I decided to pursue further lessons with Mutsue San and she requires Genki 1 2nd edition for beginners such as myself. I've studied Japanese for 3 months on Duolingo and I'm ready to transition to a professional teacher which Mutsue San is. I'm super excited and highly recommend Mutsue San because I've studied foreign languages before and this is the exact format of what I've used to learn a foreign language fluently, one on one with a professional teacher. いつもいつも楽しかった。 Mutsue san always prepare materials for our lesson so we never ran out of topics to talk about. I already took almost 10 classes with her and already purchased for more in the future. I really recommend taking class with Mutsue san. ありがとう！

Mutsue was awesome as always! She has a gift for asking the right questions to keep me talking so I can practice conversation! She helps me out when I get totally stuck, but she gives me time to try to figure out how to say it myself first. I’ve only had two lessons with her, but I feel my conversation ability is already getting better!

I did a few lessons before a trip so that I would feel less nervous speaking Japanese. Mutsue-san was extremely helpful with helping me become more confident in speaking, listening, and responding to questions. She also made note of words I didn't know and put them in the italki chat so I could add them to my anki deck after class The classes I took were more conversational as opposed to a traditional class, but if you are ready to move from textbooks to the next step, I think this class is a good way to go!

This was my third lesson with Mutsue San. She's amazing. I've scheduled a lesson next week with her and probably will start meeting more than once a week.
