Born and raised in China, I speak my mother-tongues Mandarin and Cantonese in standard accent. I also speak English fluently and French at B1 level.
I'm a professional photographer. Photography is my passion. I enjoy very much discovering beauty in everyday life. I have a strong curiosity for almost everything. I have broad interests such as travelling, reading, watching movies, creativity, philosophy, religion & beliefs, humanity, music, different cultures, cooking, nature etc.

Bin is a phenomenal teacher. She has a mastery of grammar and her ability to present this, particularly to an English speaking student, is excellent. Moreover her classes are well structured and tailored to your specific goals. I would definitely recommend!

Bin is an outstanding teacher. I have had lessons with her for two months now and she makes learning Mandarin seem almost easy.
She is helpful, encouraging and very friendly. She uses real examples of languages (e.g. images from the market or songs) to demonstrate practical usage.
I really would recommend her to anyone looking to study Mandarin.

Like many learners, I struggle with Chinese grammar and the nuances between similar terms and vocabulary. One of the things I really appreciate about Bin Laoshi is her willingness to explain these concepts patiently and thoroughly, guiding me step-by-step. Her approach has made my learning experience incredibly effective and has deepened my grasp of the language.
