My name is Tomoko. I was born and grew up in Tokyo, Japan. I lived for five years in Germany. So I can speak Japanese and German. Previously I worked at bank for a market finance department in Tokyo. So I can also teach business etiquette. I currently teach Japanese, math, and English to elementary and middle school students at a private tutoring school. I like traveling, listening to music and going to the gym. And I really love to have many friends in the world and know other culture. I would like to tell you more about wonderful Japan. I have learned German. I could understand how people feel when they are facing new language, because I had also difficulty studying German. I have some experiences of teaching Japanese in German. I’ll teach you all situations, you need to know, like for business, traveling, chatting with your friends or any romance with your partner.
I currently teach Japanese, math, and English to elementary and middle school students at a private tutoring school, so I am also able to teach your children in my italki classes.دروسي وأسلوب تدريسي
My lesson style is basically using everyday conversation, like learning from easy phrases to advanced expressions. You can bring any topics that you want to talk or learn with me. Also I can help to speak Japanese polite words and expressions on business. In the Business Japanese class, I will prepare and share the materials for you. I can provide supplementary lessons in Japanese and math for children attending International Japanese School. I can also assist with school homework. This was my first time using Italki and I did a trial lesson with Tomoko. She was very sweet and easy to talk to! I liked how she corrected my grammar without drawing too much attention to it. For a first lesson on here, she helped me a lot with my confidence because I haven't really had much speaking practice in a while. I'm definitely planning to come back to her if I need help with specific grammar or just want practice having a natural/native conversation in Japanese!

Tomoko was very nice and positive! She's good at leading conversations and listening :) I haven't spoken Japanese for a while but I felt comfortable talking to her. I definitely recommend!

Tomoko Sensei is a great teacher. 1st lesson was amazing. she is also very kind and patient. a little language barrier for English, but it still works very well because I am learning the language. either way it's an amazing experience. I would highly recommend.
