My name is Jackie. I am a native Chinese speaker. I'm a teacher of Chinese and a skilled translator, writer and editor.عني كمعلّم
Certified by the International Profession Certification Association based in the U.S. as a senior Chinese language teacher with 10+ years of experience, taught students from the U.S., France, Germany, Australia, Malaysia and gave lessons in person in Asia ( Thailand ) and Africa ( Senegal and Tunisia).دروسي وأسلوب تدريسي
I teach children and adults, one-on-one or in small groups, via general or customized lessons:
While engaging you in conversation, we'll practice vocabulary and phrases, I'll adjust your tones, improve your pronunciation, point out your grammar mistakes, show you how to write han-zi, give you assignments to complete, gradually but surely you'll gain confidence to communicate with people in daily life, while traveling, at work or when you take an exam.
I can guide you to read literature, philosophy or history in modern/classical Chinese.

Brilliant teacher, He prepares his own interesting material for each lesson and manages to teach the entire lesson using only Chinese, which requires both patience and creativity. He also asks questions at regular intervals and sends all new words learnt, as well as his own homework. He is friendly and fun to talk to, so I enjoy every lesson. I highly recommend him!

I definitely recommend Jackie to other students for any of the subjects he teaches. I have studied with him for several years both language and Chinese history and love all the lessons. Jackie has depth of knowledge and excellent teaching skills, and he adapts the level and pace of the lesson to the students. He asks stimulating questions but also can understand and extend what I can say in Chinese. And he sends extra videos and reading after class to keep the thread going. Thank you Jackie.
