Hi! I'm Yukari.
I was born and raised in Osaka and now live in Shiga Prefecture.
I usually speak Kansai dialect, but as an instructor I teach standard Japanese.
I love animals and plants. I have a 17 year old Chihuahua.
I like GHIBLI. I love “Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind,” “Spirited Away,” “Castle in the Sky,” and “Princess Mononoke” so much that I have seen them many times!
I work in an antique store, so I live with old Japanese tableware and furniture.
I love to cook and eat my own food. I am interested in fermented foods unique to Japan.

I used to teach Japanese at Japanese language schools and Japanese language classes in Kyoto, Osaka and Kobe.
The students' levels were from beginner to upper-intermediate. (N5 to N2).
Most of my students at that time were international students, but I have also taught working adults and housewives.
At italki, I mainly practice conversation with intermediate level students, but I really enjoy having lessons with people from different countries and sharing their culture and thoughts with them.دروسي وأسلوب تدريسي
◆Casual conversation lessons are recommended for those who live or have lived in Japan but are not very confident in their Japanese and do not want to forget what they have studied. for those who want to enjoy conversation about things they are interested in using familiar content such as YouTube and SNS. Grammar lessons are for those who are interested in learning Japanese.
◆Beginner level students will learn about the structure and grammar of the Japanese language. We will study using textbooks I have prepared. I can also accommodate those who want to learn from hiragana, katakana, and kanji.

I always really enjoy Yukari-sensei's conversation practice lessons. She is easy to talk to, very friendly and patient. When I'm struggling to find the right words to express myself, i never feel pressured and she always helps me to get my point across. We have a lot to laugh, too! That makes the lessons even more enjoyable and I'm always gladly looking forward to the next lesson. When I don't understand something, she always finds the right Japanese words to make it understandable, that makes it easy for me to improve my vocabulary! All in all she's a great teacher! ありがとうございます！

I just love my lessons with Yukari-san. Such a warm, engaging person with so much enthusiasm. Just a wonderful teacher. I always finish each lesson looking forward to the next.

sensei Yukari is a patient teacher. she is uplifting and positive energy. she teaches professionally and helps you understand the Japanese language easily. she is friendly and you will have fun and have a good laugh with Sensei Yukari.
