Hi, there! I'm Jen. I'm from the Philippines specifically in the Queen City of the South 'Cebu City'. I am a graduate of Bachelor of Arts in English Major in Applied Linguistics. I've been teaching online for more than five years. I have experienced teaching offline too to different nationalities. I have always enjoyed teaching and communicating with different people. It's my pleasure to help them and be part of their journey to learn another language.
I like singing, reading books, watching movies, doing crochet, and learning new things.عني كمعلّم
I am an approachable, enthusiastic, and kind teacher. I want to help students improve their language skills while having fun.

My lesson is to cater to the students' needs in enhancing their skills. That includes communication, vocabulary, grammar, and so on. Output is important so I'll let my students have more practice.

Jen was amazing! She was very easy to talk to and understand! My partner is learning with me and we both really enjoyed the session and had so much fun! We were nervous but she made us feel comfortable. We will definitely book more lessons with her so we can improve our filipino 😁 Thank you jen!!

Jen is an excellent teacher and I highly recommend her to anybody who wants to learn Cebuano. Her classes are well-prepared and easy to follow. She is patient, kind and compassionate. She speaks my native language of English, fluently and clearly, which really helps. Finally, Jen creates and sends a Lesson Summary after each of our classes that summarizes our lesson and includes customized homework. I have only been taking classes with Jen for one month so far but I feel like I have already learned so much! Daghang salamat Jen!
