Flossie

Fantastic as usual! I really enjoyed just shooting the sh*t with her after we went over the article she sent me the week before. It's nice to get some conversation in at a casual register! I learn more and more after every lesson with Flossie, and she is so good and patient about writing them down for me and explaining the meanings to me.

Flossie has exceeded my expectations from her first response to my inquiry about the possibility of taking classes even though I have absolutely no experience with any of the Chinese languages through our first lesson today. She has a clear didactic approach and helps me set clear short-term goals and a plan for practice. The class was dynamic, interesting, with great asides here and there that will help me begin to form patterns and make short sentences. On top of that Flossie is very friendly, encourages questions, and gauges well whether you are understanding what she's presenting. I can't wait until our next class and the next steps in the journey to learn Cantonese .

Flossie is great! She's very quick to identify strengths, weaknesses, and suggests appropriate material as a result. Looking forward to future lessons!
