Hey, my name is Bert! Education is by far one of my biggest passions and I am glad to help out those who seek being educated through means of language classes. I am 23 years old and currently enrolled in an educational master's program at the University of Antwerp (Belgium), specializing in 2 languages: English and Spanish. Some of my hobbies are traveling, running, weightlifting, skateboarding, hiking and learning new languages.

Sharing my knowledge about Dutch, Flemish and other interesting topics is something I like to incorporate in my classes as a teacher, so be prepared to immerse yourself in a lesser known European country, Belgium! My go-to approach is a conversational one as I am 200% convinced that the best way to learn a language, is to learn how to speak it. For those among you that prefer to focus on different skills such as listening, reading, speaking or writing, I got you covered. All of my classes are tailored to the student's needs and wishes. Therefore, I am flexible. After each class, depending on your level, I send you a homework assignment or some small exercises for you to keep practicing.

At the beginning of our first lesson I will briefly inquire about your aims and needs. As I learned languages in a rather formal setting, I like to keep classes fun, engaging, but also serious when things need to be done. As Nelson Mandela once said: "If you talk to a man in a language he understands, that goes to his head. If you talk to him in his own language, that goes to his heart.
