Привіт! Привет! Hi! My name is Denis, and I am a passionate language tutor with expertise in Ukrainian, Russian, and English. I hold a BA and MA in Linguistics and World Literature from Kyiv National Linguistic University, and I have a wealth of teaching experience, both in Ukraine and abroad.
In the past, I've worked as a language teacher at the Mathematician Lyceum in Kyiv and spent nearly eight years in Greece, where I taught Russian and Ukrainian to Greek students, primarily those studying Slavic philology. I have also taken classes in Greek myself, further deepening my understanding of language learning.عني كمعلّم
As a language teacher, my primary goal is to help you unlock your full potential and make the learning process both enjoyable and effective.
My teaching philosophy emphasizes the importance of understanding the language in context rather than just memorizing vocabulary or grammar rules. Denis provided a really great, motivating first experience with Ukrainian. We began with introducing ourselves and Denis took into account my language learning background, interests, and motivation for learning Ukrainian. He introduced me to some of the alphabet and some basic sentences, along with interesting cultural points and some general rules of the language. We also discussed a future study plan for me. I enjoyed the lesson a great deal and recommend him highly as a teacher!

What is so interesting, and important to me, is That Dennis also brings something extra into the lesson. It might be a little history or how Ukrainians live or how they behave. It brings the language to life.
