Hi everyone!
I am a B1 Cambridge Assessments English examiner and tutor with a PGCE in Modern Foreign Languages for Spanish and Portuguese. Over the past 12 years I have worked in the primary and secondary education sectors both online and in person. I love helping students improve their English and pass their exams. I'm also a language learner myself and feel this helps me to empathise more with my students :)عني كمعلّم
My lessons aim to make students feel as confident as possible in their target language whilst also enjoying a relaxed learning environment. Lessons are tailored to students' needs and requirements and regular feedback and homework assignments are given. I am a strong advocate for linguistic immersion in the target language so students who work with me tend to increase their fluency very quickly.دروسي وأسلوب تدريسي
Four kinds of courses are offered:
Cambridge Assessment English:
Designed for students preparing the First Certificate (FCE), Advanced (CAE) and Proficiency examinations.
Increase General Knowledge through English:
The content in this course in collaboration with LinguaHouse aims to increase your General Knowledge of the world through English.
English for Children:
This follows the British Curriculum for children and incudes reading and topic learning materials in order for children to practise their English in a fun and engaging environment whilst also learning something new.
I also teach Portuguese and Spanish to English speakers and can prepare GCSE and A level material.موادي الخاصة بالتدريس

Katharine's lessons are so dynamic that time flies and you regret not having booked a 1,5h class. She prepares good materials to keep the class interesting, along with effective activities to encourage you to speak and actively participate. If it is something you appreciate, on many occasions she may also ask you to choose the topic of the lesson.
Something I totally enjoyed is have the chance to discuss topics in-depth so that I could learn and use some advanced vocabulary, which is not often the case when you hang out with foreign friends.
I'll cross my fingers for the Cambridge exam!

La profesora es muy amable y respetuosa. Da la confianza para poder expresarse libremente. Aunque fue mi primera clase se me hizo corta ya que fue muy entretenida. Espero seguir estudiando y mejorando mi inglés con ella :). Muchas gracias!
